The combination of a weak dollar and floundering U.S. economy has hurt many Americans very hard.  But this economic slowdown is also a buying opportunity for many foreign investors.

Deep pocket investors from the Middle East, Europe and China are taking advantage of the weak dollar and bargain real estate prices, and are grabbing up property deals across the U.S. 

Not everybody is happy and many people, particularly in New York City, are concerned about their city’s buildings possibly being owned by too many overseas investors.  What are your feelings on this topic?
